About PeoplePlus

PeoplePlus is a leading employment support, training services and justice company, helping people across the globe to transform their lives and businesses through employment, training, education and financial advice.

We have been delivering key front-line public services for more than 30 years and incorporate A4e and Avanta, which merged in July 2015 to provide a greater choice of career opportunities for jobseekers, learners and employees and a highly effective approach to reducing unemployment in Britain.

PeoplePlus is organised into three operating divisions; Employability, Skills and Justice.

Employability incorporates our delivery of the UK Government’s Work Programme where we operate as a prime provider in nine contract areas and a further six areas as sub-contractor. Our Employability division also supports the New Enterprise Allowance and in 2014 opened the country’s first youth employment centre in Ipswich, called MyGo, providing information, advice and guidance to 16-24 year olds in Suffolk.

Skills focuses on the delivery of first class pre-employment training, apprenticeships and traineeships. We also work with employers across the UK to deliver tailored staff training packages. We hold 4 Skills Funding Agency contracts – all of which have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. The Skills division is also home to our innovative e-Learning platform, LearningPlus.

Justice relates to our operation of the probation service in Warwickshire and West Mercia through a Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) formed as part of the Ministry of Justice’s Transforming Rehabilitation project. Across the country we also operate programmes to help ex-offenders take their first step back into work upon their release. This includes the delivery of the Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) in ten prisons in the East of England. Our unique position as a provider of mainstream services both in custody and in the community enables us to provide a seamless transition into dedicated employment search and support upon release.

We do all this from over 150 locations in the UK, giving us the largest geographical reach of all employment support and training services providers, with over 3,000 employees all focused on improving the lives and careers of the customers we serve.
